Grant Monroe earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2012, majoring in Political Science and History. He went on to attend The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor Degree in 2015. In addition to earning his J.D., Mr. Monroe earned a Master of Arts Degree in Political Science after completing The University of Memphis Dual J.D./M.A. in Political Science program.
While at law school, Mr. Monroe was a member of the Moot Court Board, serving as the Associate Chief Justice for Advanced Moot Court. He was also a member of the Wagner Law and Employment Law Moot Court travel team during his second and third years. Additionally, Mr. Monroe served as an Associate Member of Volume 3, and the Publication Editor of Volume 4, of the Mental Health Law and Policy Journal. Mr. Monroe also worked at the University of Memphis Elder Law Clinic and completed an externship with the Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation.
